These are our albums. These are our "classics." This is the shit most of us will pull out in 20 years so we can reminisce about how good music used to be. Stop apologizing for that. Stop worrying that mall kids and soccer moms aren't buying this shit in mass quantities. Stop worrying that you aren't being obscure enough, and stop searching for something better.
This is as good as it gets, and we are damn lucky.
